New York favorite Sushi Azabu has arrived to South Floirda. The restaurant, which in the past received was Michelin honored, houses various concepts under one roof including a full-service dining room, “hidden” sushi counter called The Den, and Bar Azabu, cocktail bar showcasing sakes and more than 40 imported whiskies. Azabu has limited its opening hours, now operating from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

A pair of Zuma alums turns the former Shikany space in Wynwood into an Asian-inspired concept, using Japanese barbecue methods to cook sustainable meats like duck breast and Wagyu beef on its centerpiece wood-burning grill. The rustic-industrial digs feature raw concrete walls, wooden and metal accents, plus an open kitchen.
